Pretty dual purpose Heart shaped Trinket Box/Pin Cushion. Original blue velvet lid opens to reveal a compartment inside for storing jewels/trinkets. Both edges of the base are embossed with flowing designs. Beautifully made. 2.5" in height, 3.75" in lenght and 3.5" wide.

Condition: Good. Some slight marks to inside. Silver is excellent. Makers mark rubbed.

Pretty Edwardian Silver trinket box of unusual size and form. The lid features beautiful Inlaid Tortoiseshell decorated with Silver swags. The base is unusual in shape, almost resembling an inkwell which at one time it may well have been. However the conversion is obviously contemporaneous. Dated London 1909 the makers mark is unfortunately indefinable. 5cm diameter

Condition: Excellent. Very clear hallmark (except for the makers mark.) No dinks and interior is well preserved and unmarked.

Stunningly beautiful Mid-Victorian trinket box. With a 10cm diameter it is a relatively large piece and boasts a gorgeous, gently domed Tortoiseshell lid inlaid with Silver swag decoration. Fully hallmarked and bearing the makers mark C&A.

Condition: Lovely. Original cream velvet lining. There are a couple of minute pin point dinks which are hardly visible. Otherwise excellent all original piece.

Dainty Early 20th Century Silver & Tortoiseshell Trinket Box. Featuring delicate Silver inlay depicting floral swags and ribbons, it bears the hallmark for Birmingham, 1922 and is also marked to the reverse with "TORTOISESHELL." Unfortunately the makers mark is rubbed.

Measures approx 2.25" in diameter.

Condition: Excellent. No noticeable dinks or marks.

Victorian Heart Shaped Silver Trinket Box, the sides and lid elaborately embossed with scrollwork depicting shells, flowers, vines and leaves. Made in Birmingham and Dated 1890. Makers mark DF which we believe was used by James Swan of Birmingham. 3.25" diameter.

Condition: Generally Good. There is a small repair to the tip of the pie crust edge which was obviously carried out some time ago. However this is not serious enough to detract from the piece in any way.

Unusual Art Nouveau Design Silver & Tortoiseshell Trinket Box. Featuring fabulously flowing Silver inlay to the lid and manufactured in Birmingham, 1918. Boasts original velvet lined interior. The hallmark indicates the maker “Wilmot Manufacturing Company” which was founded by Walter Henry Marks, Samuel Tobias Cohen and John Paul Wilmot in the Early 20th Century.

It measures 4" in diameter.

Typical of Comyns pieces this is a superb quality piece, made in Birmingham, 1911. Complete with original Pink Velvet Lining the hallmarks are nice and clear. A specialist in elaborate and elegant designs, this typifies Comyns attention to detail and master craftsmanship. 2.75" wide x 2" long x 2.5" high.
